HISTORY
Constructed in 1885, as the R. Monne and Bro. Cigar Factory, this is the only remaining wood-frame cigar factory in Ybor City. From 1926 to 1961, the Swann family, developers of Bayshore Boulevard and other local projects, hired the factory to produce cigars under their name. Among their regular customers was singer and actor Bing Crosby. The Oliva family purchased the property in 1951.
